Our Story
Our roots go back to the University of Notre Dame, where SIMBA was founded through a research initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Defense. Notre Dame’s Technology Innovation programs provided the launchpad for SIMBA’s first prototypes — exploring how blockchain could be applied to the toughest data security and collaboration challenges.
Early pilots with the U.S. Air Force proved SIMBA’s potential to unify siloed systems, secure sensitive information, and deliver actionable intelligence. From those beginnings, SIMBA has grown into the largest blockchain provider to the U.S. Federal Government — trusted by defense agencies and leading manufacturers.
